Features
Nitehog Boomslang thermal scope delivers a crystal-clear view built around a 640×480, 12 µm sensor with <40 mK sensitivity at a fast 60 Hz. The bright 60 mm F1.1 lens and 1024×768 OLED display combine to reveal fine texture and movement at distance, while 3.2× optical magnification preserves image integrity before you add 2×/4× digital zoom. Designed for hunters who want tradition with smart capability, Boomslang layers in Image Razor processing, Picture-in-Picture, on-board recording with audio and live Wi-Fi streaming—so you can review, share or troubleshoot with confidence. With IP66 weather protection and a single 18650 power solution, it’s built for long nights in Australian conditions.
The F60 objective and sensitive core stretch detection on man-size targets well past two kilometres, keeping heat signatures defined through fog, drizzle and dust. A rigid chassis and Zeiss Rail interface give a stable, repeatable mount, while the 60 Hz feed maintains smooth tracking on moving game. Controls are laid out for gloved operation, including a tactile rotary on/off and user-programmable buttons for your most-used functions. Multiple palettes—White/Black/Red Hot, IsoTherm, Auto IsoTherm, Rainbow and Ironbow—help tailor the view to background and target, and IP66 sealing shrugs off wet paddocks, beach spray and red dust.
Boomslang is built to make decisive shots simpler. Picture-in-Picture provides a magnified aiming window without losing situational awareness, while the ballistic calculator, gyroscope and e-compass support confident holds from awkward positions or on angled shots. Recoil-activated video captures the moment of truth automatically, and onboard audio adds useful context for later review. With about six hours from one 18650 cell and quick battery swaps, you can stay on the hill from dusk to after midnight without a cable tail. Five reticles (four colours) and multiple zero profiles let you configure rifles and distances, then switch without re-work.
Boomslang blends long-range thermal performance, robust mounting and modern capture tools into a single, field-ready package. If you’re chasing clarity, stability and smart features for ethical night hunting, this scope earns its keep season after season.

BOOMSLANG is designed and developed by our in-house engineers. The turn-key production process allows us manufacture state-of-art products to meet every hunter's requirements. A mobile app and own LRF is one of the key features that are coming soon.
The Nitehog Image Razor technology enables our versatile software processing which applies different enhancements to ensure clear and sharp vision in a variety of environmental conditions such as fog, rain, snow, smoke, and total darkness. The level of those alterations depends on the customer’s preference to the image they see and can be applied to any scene.
BOOMSLANG offers a variety of image modes for different environments, situations and personal preferences.
White Hot is a versatile choice for observing urban areas and shifting landscapes that displays warmer objects in white and cooler objects in black.
Black Hot displays warmer objects in black and cooler ones in white, which makes it a preferred mode among hunters and law enforcement.
Red Hot is a recommended mode for prolonged observation. The red-black image minimizes blue light emissions from the display and reduces eyes strain from extended usage.
The isotherm mode colors objects above the threshold temperature in different shades of red. The temperature threshold can be set (increase/decrease) by the temperature scale available.
