CANiK Optic Interface #R01 is a purpose-built mounting plate for shooters setting up popular micro red dot optics on optic-ready CANiK platforms. Designed to deliver a secure, factory-style interface, the R01 plate creates a stable bridge between the slide and the optic footprint, helping keep alignment consistent through recoil and repeated cycling. Optic plates live right where all the stress happens: recoil impulse, fastener torque, slide velocity and the occasional bump when pistols get transported like… well, pistols. The R01’s aluminium construction provides a rigid base that helps reduce movement at the optic-to-slide interface, which is key to maintaining a consistent zero over time. The Eloxal coating adds a tough, protective surface layer that resists corrosion and wear, making it well suited to Australian conditions where humidity, salt air and fine dust can chew through unprotected parts. The R01 plate is designed to keep added height and bulk to a minimum, supporting natural presentation and faster dot acquisition while retaining familiar handling characteristics. The serrated profile aligns with slide serrations to improve grip during manipulations, which is especially handy during drills when you’re running the slide hard and often. It’s compatible with TP9 SFx, TP9 SFx Mod.2, TP9 Elite Combat, TP9 Elite-S Combat and SFx Rival models, making it a versatile option across several optic-ready CANiK slides. As with any optic installation, correct torque and a proper function check are recommended to ensure reliable retention before live fire.
